Letter hit the nail on the head on American values

Robert Sylk's letter to the editor on Sunday is absolutely correct. For years now, we have allowed the voices of a few to overshadow the good that can be shared through ideas and thoughts. Americans are realizing that our great country needs to return to morals and values and a sense of responsibility.

We should not sit idly by while our leaders make a mockery of this great country. Stand up, vote, share your values and be counted citizens of America. Yes, we do live in the greatest country on Earth. However, it is going to take all of us to do our part in keeping it great!
